Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are your fees and payment options?

Our goal is to deliver quality medical health care.

With Medicare rebate freezes for the last three years and set to continue until 2020 it makes it impossible to achieve this in privately owned practices with bulk billing.

Our costs continue to rise, especially in the field of achieving accreditation and keeping up to date as well as normal ongoing costs of running a business.

For this reason we chose to charge a reasonable private fee with discounts to concession card holders. We offer bulk billing to all children under the age of 16 years.

    Concession card holder

    Long consultation

    - $115

    Concession card holder

    - $95

We are able to process your refund through Medicare at the time of your visit. The Medicare rebate for a normal consultation is $37.05 and for a longer consultation is $71.70.

  • How can I get my test results?

Please book a future appointment with your doctor to discuss test results at the time they are ordered. Alternatively phone the practice nurse for an overview of your test results. Any abnormal test results will need to be discussed with your GP face to face.

  • Can I speak to a doctor over the telephone?

Our doctors are very busy with appointments. If you feel you need to speak to them via the phone, a nurse will usually speak to you first before discussing your case with the doctor or leaving the doctor a message.

  • Can I leave forms for the doctor to fill out later?

Our doctors request that you please book an appointment for any forms so that you can discuss and complete them with the doctor.

  • What is your practice privacy policy?

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. We abide by the Australian Privacy Principles set by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner - OAIC.
